Challenge

Challenge

The main challenge was creating a cohesive brand and product experience from scratch in a fast-paced fintech setting. The identity had to feel secure yet friendly for new users, balancing trust with simplicity. Building a functional prototype that combined usability and visual appeal required constant iteration between branding, interface design, and interaction flow to deliver a unified and intuitive experience.

Solution

Solution

Easy Cash was designed to offer a seamless, secure, and user-friendly mobile wallet experience:

  • A clear and trustworthy branding and visual identity that makes users feel confident about their financial data and transactions.

  • Streamlined core flows (onboarding, sending/receiving money, QR payments, virtual card usage) that reduce friction and make money management simple for everyday users.

  • A localized UX that respects language, cultural expectations, and the comfort level of the target users.

  • A unified design approach that combines usability, visual clarity, and consistent interaction patterns to deliver an intuitive and pleasant user experience.

Research

Research

The goal of supporting “everyday transactions” indicated that the product must handle a variety of common use cases — money transfers, QR payments, virtual card payments — which guided the decision to prioritize versatility and ease of use over overly complex features.

Given the local (Egyptian) user base, localization — in language, cultural expectations, and payment habits — was essential to ensure adoption and comfort for users unfamiliar with digital wallets.

Concept & Branding

The design concept focused on creating a friendly yet secure fintech interface: one that feels trustworthy for financial operations but remains approachable and easy to use for general users. This meant carefully balancing visual design, interaction flows, and brand identity.

Core Flow Design & Usability Focus

I worked on streamlining core app flows — from onboarding to daily transactions — to ensure users can navigate financial tasks without confusion or friction.

Key features such as QR payments, virtual cards, sending/receiving money, and wallet management were given priority in interface design, to reflect real-world needs of users seeking a “daily-use wallet.”
